On the day that his sister Hayley is getting married, Jack feels duty-bound to look after her and make sure everything goes smoothly. But this task becomes increasingly difficult when he learns that the guests sharing his table at the wedding include his fiery ex-girlfriend Amanda with her jealous, new boyfriend; Marc, who’s come to declare his undying love for the bride and to ruin the wedding; and Dina, the girl who Jack had fallen in love with two years earlier. After the guests’ table positions are arranged just right, things go awry when some children decide to mess up the place-names. The fact that they’re all sitting in the wrong seats leads to a disaster. But, as in Groundhog Day, time rewinds and the characters get to start the evening again, sitting in different places…
